The Brief

This Blog is designed to showcase my research for the Extended Project. This is an independent research course I am taking at college. In order to complete the course we must choose a topic to research and design a question to answer with a 5000 word report. My chosen topic is the Natural World, specifically, prehistory. With the overall aim in life of becoming a palaeontologist I feel this course would be a great asset to my understanding of the field. Within this field of research i have decided to investigate the theories behind the Pleistocene Extinctions (The loss of Mega Fauna towards the end of the last Ice Age). This blog is here to host my findings and research ideas as well as project plans and eventually the finished report. Admittedly it is more for my benefit so I can keep track of my progress but feel free to read and add your thoughts and comments through out the year.

Introduction to Ext. Project.

Admittedly it is a bit late in the year to start this. Despite that, I aim to regularly update this blog with project progress and with info from my project journal.  Starting with quite a lot of back dated info. Stay tuned for the Extended Project; Holocene Extinctions! I will also point out that this blog is not for you if you are not interested in prehistory or wildlife in any way.
